Linnaeus Legacy #11

The Linnaeus Legacy carnival, which celebrates Carl Linnaeus’ many contributions to biology, ecology, and taxonomy, is up at The Other 95%. I’m completely flattered that Eric Heupel entered my slime mold celebration, particularly since Linnaeus set a high bar for non-vertebrate lust by writing “extremely risque (for the time) description[s] of the reproductive systems of flowering plants.” Check out the many excellent entries – there’s everything from musings on whether taxonomy is a science to Eric’s own campaign to Save the Whale Lice to phylogeny songs!
